MARCH
March - National Colorectal Cancer Month
More than 90% of colon cancer cases occur in people age 50 and older. Early colon cancer usually has no symptoms so regular screening is your best protection. Signs and symptoms typically occur only when the cancer is more advanced and harder to treat. The absence of symptoms should never be a reason to delay or ignore colon cancer testing so talk to your health care provider about the best screening option for you.
